Refund policy

At Naseerah’s Bake Shop, we take great pride in baking fresh, high-quality cookies and dessert products. Because our items are made-to-order and perishable, we have specific guidelines for returns, exchanges, refunds, cancellations, and special orders. Please review the full policy below.


1. Return & Exchange Policy (Shipped or Delivered Orders)

All cookies and baked goods are perishable food items. For this reason:

🚫 No Returns or Exchanges

We do not accept returns or exchanges on any shipped or delivered orders.

If there is an issue, please notify us within 24–48 hours of delivery so we can review and assist.

If There Is an Issue With Your Order

Please email us at contactNBS@naseerahbakes.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Photos of the cookies and packaging

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect

  • Missing items

  • Or not up to our usual quality standards

We will review your claim and may offer one of the following:

  • Store credit

  • Replacement shipment

  • Partial or full refund (in rare, approved cases)

All remedies are issued at the discretion of the company.


2. Refund Policy – Regular Orders

Because our products are baked fresh and are perishable:

  • All sales are final.

  • Refunds are not automatically provided unless approved after review of an order issue.

  • Approved remedies typically include store credit or replacement, not returns.


3. Refund/Exchange Policy – Special Orders

Special orders include custom requests, bulk orders, corporate orders, and items requiring advance preparation.

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required for all special orders.

If you are not satisfied with your special order, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your items.
Any amount paid beyond the non-refundable deposit may be issued as store credit in the form of a gift card.

Store credits are issued at the discretion of the company.


4. Ordering Policy for Special Orders

  • Special orders must be placed at least 2 weeks before the requested date.

  • Orders placed 1 week before the date may be accepted without a rush fee, depending on availability.

  • Orders placed less than 1 week before the requested date may require a rush fee, determined during order confirmation.


5. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans may change. We will assist with modifications whenever possible.

Standard Cancellations

Cancellations must be requested:

  • By phone or email by 4 PM

  • At least 3 business days before delivery or pickup

If canceled within this window:

  • The deposit remains non-refundable

  • Any remaining balance may be issued as store credit or refunded (per discretion)

Late Cancellations

If insufficient notice is given, the following charges apply:

  • Canceling 48 hours before delivery date:
    25% of the total order will be charged

  • Canceling less than 48 hours before delivery date:
    100% of the order will be charged

Unclaimed Special Orders

Orders not picked up within 48 hours of the original date will be discarded for safety and freshness.
No refunds or credits will be issued.


6. Shipping & Delivery Policies (For Shipped Cookies)

Once shipped, your order is handled by the carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx).

We do not issue refunds or accept returns for:

  • Weather-related delays

  • Carrier delays or mishandling

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses submitted by the customer

  • Packages marked “delivered” but not received

  • Melted, softened, or slightly damaged items due to transit conditions

We can assist you in filing a claim with the carrier when appropriate.


7. Quality & Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is important to us. While returns are not accepted for perishable items, we always want your experience to be a great one.
